Supernatural is the Hidden Gem of the CW Network

There are many things in life that amaze me but one of the big ones these days is why doesn't the CW show Supernatural get more promotion and a lot more respect. I mean seriously not since Redford and Newman from their Butch and Sundance days have I seen 2 more charismatic and talented actors than Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. These guys have the whole enchilada my friends. They are extremely talented, extremely handsome, and just have these magnetic personalities that seem to jump off the screen. Then you have the new cast member Misha Collins who plays Castiel the angel of the Lord and Dean Winchester's right hand man!

Misha Collins just joined the show this past season and has proved himself to be a totally awesome and welcome addition to the show. The interaction between the Winchesters and Cas is always an entertaining exchange Then you have the totally talented and also quite charismatic Jim Beaver who guests quite often as the Winchesters level headed and crafty sidekick/mentor Bobby Singer. Jim Beaver is just perfect for the part complete with ball cap and smart alec comments on the Winchester's antics. One of my favorite Bobbyism as I have called them is that he sometimes refers to the boys as idjits. Ask any Supernatural fan about that and you will immediately see a huge smile on their face! :) The writing for the show is outstanding. The show can bring you to tears with scenes so full of angst you need a whole box of kleenex to watch them to tears of laughter from scenes so funny that they knock you off your chair. I mean ask any fan about the episode Yellow Fever and fans will immediately break out in a huge smile as they recount the Winchesters adventures in that episode. Scenes do not come any funnier than Dean screaming in terrror when the cat jumps out of the locker. I am laughing to myself just thinking about it! Supernatural is the perfect blend of action,horror drama and yes comedy.

The fx are really something to behold thanks to the totally creative and talented team that the show has behind it.So why doesn't the show get the credit it deserves? That is the million dollar question that I would love to see resolved. In accordance with that goal I will certainly do my part in spreading the word about this totally awesome and totally underrated show!!If you have not caught the show tune into the CW on Fridays at 9 pm and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. The only thing that might happen is that you will be a little less off financially because you will want to run right out and purchase all the previous seasons to catch up on all that you have missed!!
